The goal of our project in the foothills of Boise, Idaho was to turn a ‘70s-era house into a modern home. We created space by turning the kitchen into an open-concept space perfect for preparing food, eating, and socializing. We added a primary suite on the third floor to make more room for the family, as well as built a mud room. The family also asked us to create a wine room—which we were happy to work into the plans.
