Our clients had newly excavated a basement, but now needed help making it a livable space. We answered the call by finishing a 1,300-square-foot living space with two bedrooms and a bathroom. It might be under ground, but it feels light, open and the perfect place to relax. Upstairs, we removed an exterior, load-bearing wall to create an open-concept kitchen and dining room.
